Artist (Eugene)

Jeff Coccin

Hello. My name's Jeff. I grew up in a part of The Rust Belt known as "Ohio". I started making art on walls with crayon from a very young age, and that kicked off my journey as a visual artist.

I always knew tattoos were going to be a part of my life. I did a bit of an old school tattoo apprenticeship before fully leaving the Mid West.

I came through The Willamette Valley for the first time in 2002, and between travels elsewhere, would generally return to the Eugene area.

After spending some years between Norway, Alaska, and farms in southern Oregon, I crawled out of the woods, and back to Eugene to pursue a tattoo career in 2022.

Through the years, I've practiced a wide variety of art forms, from metal sculpture and screen printing, to photography and music. Drawing has always been my main passion, and I consider myself an illustrator, more than anything else. I mostly approach tattooing with an illustrative blackwork style, but am happy to tattoo in a variety of ways.

Tattooing, and other forms of body modification, are some of the oldest art forms. Even with all the modern equipment, industry conditions, and capitalist exchange, this ancient current can be felt. Tattoos are different things for different people, but ultimately, a highly transformative act, and I feel honored to be a part this process.
